Resident Evil: Build to survive! (Review)

 

 

 

 

 

 

The place I’m reviewing today is “Resident Evil: Build to survive!” This is also reffered to with the unnecessary abbreviation, REBTS. I’ll review an additional section today as well, scripting. Enjoy!

 

——–Gameplay——–

The gameplay for this place is absolutely amazing. Even though he copied a video game, he’s made it extremely exiting! It’s suprisingly basic, you build structures to survive zombies. You have 5 minutes to build, and 5 to fight. Some good ones to make are sniper towers, miniature castles, or a large pathway overlooking the playfield. No matter what you build, or if you don’t build at all, there’s lots of fighting to do! You rack up points by killing zombies, and shooting different ones give you different ammounts of money. The regular Zombie gives you the least, and Nemesis gives you the most. When you get enough points, and you are done fighting, you can buy some more weapons at the weapons shop! You can buy them with amazing, manly, chat commands! Its also really easy to lose track of time while sniping zombies. On the other hand, this place is a little drab after a while. The first few visits the place is amazing. Then, around 5 times it starts to get a little old. You notice yourself staying smaller and smaller amounts of time there. One day you go to click “visit online” and you hesitate. After a few seconds you decide to go. That’s your last visit for a while. Then, a month or so later, you go again and the cycle repeats.

Overall Rating – 8/10

——–Creativity——–

This place is pretty creative, but he didn’t create Resident Evil idea. However, the “Build to survive” concept is a nice touch. I’ve never played Resident Evil, so I wouldn’t know if the names are original or not. But even if the main concept isn’t creative, there’s more of a deep creativeness at this place.

Overall Rating – 6/10

——–Scripting——–

Instead of creativity, I’m reviewing scripting this time. Mainly because there’s much more to review in scripting than creativity. Let’s get started shall we?

This place is scripted out the wazoo. The most impressive of the scripts is the Weapons Shop. Somehow, beyond my understanding, you can only buy weapons when building. Again, you get money from killing zombies. The scripts vary from very simple to very complex. The simplest would probably be the one that opens and closes the doors.

Overall Rating – 9/10

Aircraft Carrier Place Review

Today I’ve chosen to review Aircraft Carrier. I hope you enjoy it.

Aircraft Carrier, a simple and easy to play place. It is wonderfully constructed and the concept is so easy to grasp, that you must be a complete newbie to not be able to play it.

————-Gameplay————-

One of the best things about this place is its concept. When I get in a plane, I’m suddenly a professional pilot even though I suck. There are 2 teams, red and blue, and 2 carriers. It’s also a CTF, so there’s a battle for the flags going on while you fly!

There are two types of planes, regular and bomber. The regular is a regular plane with regular controls. The bomber, you guessed it, has the ability to drop bombs! This place is great practice for dog fighting. You can kamikaze too, that’s my tactic. Also watch out for noobs, there can sometimes be throngs of them dropping bombs.

Pros: One of the most inventive ideas I’ve seen on Roblox.

Cons: Noobs can thrive here sometimes, and kamikaze like crap.

Overall: 8/10

————–Creativity————-

The idea is extremely inventive, from the plane designs to the idea. It is extremely easy to lose track of time while shooting people out of the sky. I think that this truly deserves to be on the front page of most popular all time. It also has an elaborately hidden place inside the carrier itself. The planes themselves are also very elaborately designed, with the wedges and guns arranged so wonderfully…

I have to go there now, BYE!

Pros: The planes, the carriers, and the concept completely envelop me and a cloud of coolness.

Cons: The place inside the carriers can be a little confusing.

 

Overall: 9/10
